what is universal design?

Universal Design, as the words imply, suggest it’s relation to “inclusive design” and “design for all”. It emerged from barrier-free design and assistive technology. Universal design strives to be a broad-spectrum solution that helps everyone, not just people with disabilities. Moreover, it recognizes the importance of how things look and appeals to a wide range of consumers.
